Today, Vimna and Jinga commemorate Amelia Earhart as a pioneer in woman aviation. Amelia Mary Earhart (July 24, 1897) was known as an American aviation pioneer and author. She was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.

Ms. Earhart had paved the way for many women who inspired to be pilots. She was a woman with so many accomplishment as well, setting other records such as writing best-selling books about her flying experiences and playing an instrumental role in the formation of the Ninety-Nines, an organization for female pilots.
