Kevin Curwick - High School QB Takes on Bullying One Tweet at a Time

(inspiremykids.com)
Kevin Curwick is a senior at Osseo High School in Minnesota and also the captain of the schools football team. Kevin does not have to worry about being bullied himself, but he has made it a priority to care for others who are being bullied.

In fact, after seeing many schoolmates being bullied online and in school, he decided to set up a Twitter account, Osseo Nice Things, to talk about the positive things he sees with kids at his school.

Here are a few examples of his tweets:
- A great cheerleader and a fun girl to be around. She might be short, but she stands tall through the hard times. Bridget Philippon.
- Hes won snowboarding competition and has won over our hearts through song. A kind guy with the best hair. Kevin Gillespie.

I want them to feel welcomed, be happy about what they are and what they contribute to Osseo, Kevin told KACE. Now other student leaders at schools in Minnesota have started to do the same thing.
Kevin is wonderful example, like kids on the Queen Creek football team, of young leaders going well out of their way to help others in their school community.
