Case:

Kindergarten classmate

A girl play with two boys after school hours waiting for them to be picked up.

They start playing as what children on their norm age playing like running around, chasing each other, imitating others, jumping etc until at one time they initiated boxing game, which end up the 2 boys hiting the head of the girl that make her crying in vain but the 2 boys kept beating her without knowing what they did was not right and may cause the girl got injured.



Solution :

1.Remove the girl from the situation immidiately and did check up on physicall injured if any by a teacher

2.Other teacher handled the 2 boys. Her task was to find out what’s going on. Knowing what is happening, teacher in maintaining the control behaviour asked the 2 boys to play the same game with the teacher again and along the game she guided them while they were playing. By doing this, the teacher can share with tehm what things they should not do and why. If they follow the guidance than we should also feed back them with encouraging statements like : great job, it was so nice having you caring others, that is the way it shoud be done etc.
